Give Help

Volunteer

Volunteers are the life blood of foodbanks. Your skills could be just what we need.

Volunteers:

Volunteers are the driving force behind foodbanks. There are thousands of volunteers across the UK, helping the Trussell Foodbank Network get emergency food to people in crisis. We want you to enjoy volunteering and there are lots of ways to get involved. Whatever role you choose, you will make a real difference to the life of someone in crisis.

We have a range of volunteer roles, in each of our locations: at the Minster Mission, Great Yarmouth foodbank centre and at our Warehouse in Great Yarmouth.

We have availability in the following roles:

Drivers

We need people with current driving licenses who will help collect food from supermarkets and donation points across Great Yarmouth..  Drivers are also needed to deliver food to the warehouse and foodbank centres and out to foodbank recipients.

If this sounds like something you would be interested in, please contact our warehouse coordinator Debbie King on [email protected] or 07455 387712.

Communications volunteer

We need help with updating our website and social media channels, helping with publicity and clear communications.  If this role would interest you please contact [email protected]
